Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality, in-home post-operative care to clients recovering from cosmetic and surgical procedures. This role requires professionalism, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a private setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide bedside post-operative care under the supervision of a licensed APRN or RN
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with mobility, ambulation, and positioning
- Support patients with hygiene and personal care
- Assist with drain care, dressing changes (as directed), and basic wound support
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized recovery environment
- Provide compassionate emotional support and patient education
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification in the state of employment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of patient care experience (post-op or surgical experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in home or hotel settings
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
